Terms of use
Last updated
By using WriteKeys you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.
Using WriteKeys
WriteKeys is free for personal and work use, and you don't need an account. Don't use it to break the law, and don't try to disrupt the site or the people who use it.
Check the result
WriteKeys changes text by following fixed rules. It can get things wrong: it may lowercase a name or an acronym it doesn't know, or join lines you meant to keep apart. You are responsible for reading the text before you use it in a record, form, letter, or message.
Your text
Your text stays yours. It is processed in your browser and never sent to us, so we don't receive it, store it, or claim any rights to it.
Your organization's rules
Follow your employer's policies on protected health information and approved software. If your organization doesn't allow staff to use websites like this one with patient information, don't.
No medical or legal advice
WriteKeys formats text. Nothing on this site is medical, legal, or compliance advice.
No warranty
WriteKeys is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't promise that the site will always be available or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, WriteKeys is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the site or of text it produced.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using WriteKeys after a change, you accept the updated terms.
